Shelley’s riding school is a small and friendly yard situated on the edge of Braunton, within easy reach of Barnstaple and Ilfracombe. This location provides the riding school with a variety of riding including the beach, Braunton burrows and woodland treks.
All standards and ages are welcome from complete beginners to those who have a life-time of experience with horses. The riding school has a selection of well mannered horses and ponies to suit all abilities, which are always schooled to a high standard for those riders wishing to expand their knowledge, with qualified tuition always available and all rides are escorted.
The riding school has a new full size 20 x 40m arena, which has proven very popular with the regulars. The all weather suface means lessons can carry on throughout the winter months.
As well as lessons and hacks there is always variety of different activities avalible in half terms and school holidays, including pony days, fun rides and competitions.
